If you refuse to help Anders, the quest ends here and will increase your rivalry with him by a fair amount.Ĭompletion – Return to Anders’ clinic to talk to him for the conclusion to this quest. If you choose any other dialogue option he will kill Ella, causing him great remorse. You can calm him down using the green leaf dialogue option and he will run back to his clinic. The choices you make can affect your relationship with Anders greatly. When the battle is over you will have to deal with the following conversation carefully. After a short conversation, Anders will lose control of Justice and go a little crazy. Make your way through the tunnels until you come across Ser Alrik. No matter how you handled the situation, Anders will join you and give you the maps you were after.Īctivation – Complete “Blackpowder Courtesy”, then go to Anders’ clinic and speak to him to start the quest.Įxecution – Put Anders in your party and head off to the Gallows Dungeon. The opposite is true for rivalry if you are mean to him.Ĭompletion – After leaving the Chantry, go back to Anders clinic and talk to him about the event of this quest. If you are kind to him and sympathetic to his “Justice” situation, it can help you get off to a good start for friendship. In this conversation you must advise Anders on how best to help his friend. Clear out the enemies and you will be able to talk to Karl properly. After a brief cutscene you will find a fight ensues. When you arrive at the Chantry you can head inside and up the stairs to find his friend, Karl. Anders asks you to help him rescue a friend of his from the Chantry and offers to meet you there. With some cajoling you will be able to find out form her that Anders is in Darktown. Head to her import store and ask about a grey warden. He will express the need for maps of the Deep Roads.Įxecution – You will need to find where Anders is hiding and your lead is Lirene, who holds a store in Lowtown. To start the quest off you need to talk to Varric at the Hanged Man. Being a story line quest it is compulsory to complete it. After this you can ask him to move in and complete him remaining companion quests to achieve the full romance with him.Īctivation – This quest is not strictly a companion quest but it is necessary to complete it to recruit Anders. After completing his “Questioning Beliefs” visit, go back to your estate at night for a romantic evening with him. Be sure to be kind to him and side with the mages whenever he is in your party. Complete his companion quests and flirt whenever possible.

Shields and speed wise the M8 is comparable to the M3. It has no guns (some models have a rear turret) but instead has missile launching tubes. The M5(+) can be docked in a ship that has hangars. It has very little shielding and can mount one or two weak weapons. The M4(+) can be docked in a ship that has hangars. The M4+ is just an enhanced version of the M4. The M4 is faster than the M3 but slower than the M5. The difference is that the laser power generator is around half of what the M3 has. It has moderate shielding and can mount just as many guns as a M3. The M3(+) can be docked in a ship that has hangars. The M3+ is basically an enhanced version of the M3 with stronger shields, more laser power and a larger cargo bay. They can be used to gun down other fighters or for small trade runs. It has the most shielding, can mount the most guns and is the slowest out of all the fighters. They are mainly used to fight but the larger variants can used to haul freight around or make small trade runs. They make for great player ships (the ship that you fly around in).įighters are the backbone of any fleet. They are heavily shielded, well armed and in some models, faster than the M3 fighter. They can also be used for small trade runs as they have a somewhat largish cargo bay. They are also the only type of ship that can launch boarding pods which are used for boarding and capturing ships.Ĭorvettes are a special class as they are not large enough to be a capital ship but are definitely not fighters. They don’t have any guns (not counting one or two turrets) but instead, have missile launchers. They are good for when you can’t afford a M1 or M2 and when the situation doesn’t call for a M1 or M2 but is a little too dangerous for the smaller ships. M7’s bridge the gap between the small and the big, think of them as a mini M1 or M2. Being able to mount insane amounts of firepower they are arguably deadliest ships in the game. The M2s are the jumbo jets of the X universe. They have massive hangers (The Argon M1 has a hanger space of 60) but even without the fighters, they can hold their own against other capital ships. M1s are the center piece of any large fleet. Also, because of their size, they can only dock at Equipment Docks, Shipyards, Military Outposts and Company HQs. They can be used as escorts but it should be noted that due to their comparatively smaller cargo hold, these ships are not as efficient at trading as ships that are made for trading.Ĭapital ships are the slow, expensive and heavily shielded behemoths of the X universe that are used generally for blowing stuff up. Well, that's the end of the introduction to this guide the useful stuff starts in the next section, good luck!Ĭombat ShipsThese ships are made for fighting. Please note that this guide is based on the default keyboard and mouse configuration. So go ahead, try using a gamepad and see how you like it. You however, might not like using a gamepad. I personally prefer playing with a gamepad as I find it makes controlling ships a lot easier. One thing to note is that this guide is written with a more of a combat orientated money maker approach to things, so if you are more into the trading aspect of the game and want to keep out of combat as much as possible, then this guide may not be as useful for you. Please note that this guide is mainly for those of you who are completely new to the X series and space simulations in general, so if you have past experience in either or both of those things, some of what is in this guide might not be new to you. So you've found the wonders of the X-universe in Terran Conflict, but don't know where to start? This guide should make things easier and start you on your way to making an intergalactic empire. Crop Profile for Sugar Beets in Colorado. University of Idaho: Cooperative Extension. Integrated Pest Management Guide for Sugarbeet Root Maggot. For more detailed information on chemical control of sugarbeet root maggot, consult the North Dakota State University webpage.īechinski, E., R. Both granular and liquid insecticides are available for managing sugarbeet root maggot and should be applied immediately after fly numbers exceed economic thresholds. Chemical controlĬhemical management of sugarbeet root maggot is challenging and requires several considerations, such as timing, weather, and product formulation. The addition of cover crops prior to beet planting can help reduce feeding injuries caused by sugarbeet root maggot. After harvest, tilling deep into the soil will expose overwintering larvae to natural enemies and freezing temperatures, but may compromise soil health. Planting early will allow sugar beets to grow beyond the seedling stage. Sugar beets planted in fine, sandy soils are more susceptible to feeding injury.Ĭrop rotation is recommended, but alone is ineffective since flies can migrate to and from neighboring fields. Proper irrigation can decrease the severity of feeding injury on plants since frequent irrigation causes larvae to move closer to the surface where plants are less susceptible. Aside from conserving natural enemies, there are no commercially available biological controls for management of sugarbeet root maggot. There are several natural enemies of sugarbeet root maggot including ground beetles, predatory flies, birds, and some species of naturally occurring entomopathogenic fungi such as Metarhizium anisopliae. Chemical control is generally warranted if captures average 40-45 flies per trap from the start of the season. Insecticides should be applied if the running tally exceeds the threshold. Compare the running tally, calculated by adding total trap averages, from the day of peak with thresholds in table 1 of the Integrated Pest Management Guide for Sugarbeet Root Maggot. Control decisions should be made when captures in the daily average column have peaked. A daily average can be obtained by dividing the trap average by the number of days since traps were last checked. Fly captures should be recorded for all traps and used to calculate a trap average. Recordkeeping is necessary to inform decisions related to management. It is recommended that growers monitor and check each individual field since fly activity can differ between adjacent fields. Remove any weeds that might interfere with the trap. Traps should be spaced at intervals of several hundred yards and positioned for easy checking. These traps should be deployed in spring along the fencerow or ditch bank along the sugar beet field, but not within the field. After counting flies of sugarbeet root maggot, discard the old trap and replace it with a new one. Over time, insects will cover the sticky surface and prevent additional captures, therefore traps should be checked a minimum of two times per week. Fly abundance can be monitored with yellow sticky traps. We've invested a lot into making Todoist available on as many devices and platforms as possible. EMS professionals should consider sodium nitrite toxicity in patients with a suspected overdose who present with a cyanotic appearance, pulse oximetry that remains around 85% despite oxygen, and dark brown blood seen on venipuncture. In the Emergency Department (ED), she received methylene blue and packed red cells but could not be resuscitated despite a prolonged effort. The patient decompensated rapidly into a bradycardic arrest during transport despite intubation, push-dose epinephrine, and intravenous fluid resuscitation. The patient was hypotensive and cyanotic upon EMS arrival. A 17-year-old female reportedly drank approximately one tablespoon of sodium nitrite in a self-harm attempt. We report a case of an intentional fatal overdose of sodium nitrite. The majority of reports on sodium nitrite poisonings have been the result of unintentional exposures. Clinical manifestations can include cyanosis, hypoxia, altered consciousness, dysrhythmias, and death. At a distance of 12 inches, this lamp projects 10,000 lux of “99.3 percent UV-free” LED light from its 15½-by-12½-inch lamp face, the same amount of lux as all of our other picks provide and the minimum lux that any SAD lamp needs to be therapeutically effective according to the doctors we interviewed. The Carex Day-Light Classic Plus has the largest light face of all our picks and an impressive record of efficacy, as reported in customer reviews and academic research alike. |
